EMPOWERING
STUDENTS
through
STRUCTURED
ACTIVITIES
for YOUTH
In the effort of
helping parents build good character in their children, I am implementing a
new opportunity in which your daughter(s) can display some of the life
skills she is learning in addition to dance/twirl and poms.
Every
month I will post a topic on the website in which your daughter may write a
one page or less "ESSAY." The goal of this essay exercise is to identify the
life skills she is learning in baton class and how these skills can be
applied in other settings.
This is
certainly not mandatory, but each girl who submits an essay to me by the end
of the month will receive a special posting of her picture on our website.
Essays can be hand written (be sure to include your name and baton class) or
e-mailed.
